HRH The Earl of Wessex visits Hope

In July 2020, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex paid a virtual visit to Hope.

His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex was joined by the Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Lady Darnley. Both were extremely impressed with the eloquence of the young people who spoke to His Royal Highness and the overall work Hope is doing.

Some service users and families met His Royal Highness, who asked them about the support they had received from Hope, how they had initially become aware of the charity and what makes it special in their minds. His Royal Highness engaged with each person individually and really appreciated their openness with their personal stories.

Volunteers were able to speak HRH The Earl of Wessex about the reasons why they had chosen to support Hope and a snapshot of some of the work they had done. These people play a huge part in the Hope family and so it was really important that they had the chance to meet His Royal Highness.
