Introduction to our service in Wales
Welcome to Hope’s local service for Wales. My name is Marsha and I am Hope’s Local Liaison Officer for Wales.
I work with referring organisations in Wales, including local youth groups, schools, hospices, charities and local authorities to make sure all young people who need our support can access the help they need. I also work with families and young people directly, to help them to self-refer to Hope.
I have extensive experience working in the charity sector in Wales and England, including within cancer support and hospice charities. I bring a strong background in supporting families, as well as experience of developing and establishing charitable services.
While my area of work covers all of Wales, we do not currently have support available in Welsh, either one-to-one or group. If you, or a young person you know, need support in Welsh, there is a list of organisations and resources on this page which might be helpful.

Rwy’n gweithio gyda sefydliadau atgyfeirio yng Nghymru, gan gynnwys grwpiau ieuenctid lleol, ysgolion, hosbisau, elusennau ac awdurdodau lleol i sicrhau bod pob person ifanc sydd angen ein cefnogaeth yn gallu cael mynediad at yr help sydd ei angen arnynt. Rwyf hefyd yn gweithio gyda theuluoedd a phobl ifanc yn uniongyrchol, i’w helpu i atgyfeirio eu hunain i wasanaethau Hope.
Mae gen i brofiad helaeth o weithio yn y sector elusennau yng Nghymru a Lloegr, gan gynnwys elusennau cymorth canser ac elusennau hosbis. Mae gen i gefndir cadarn mewn cefnogi teuluoedd, yn ogystal â phrofiad o ddatblygu a sefydlu gwasanaethau elusennol.
