Youth Services Manager
We're looking for a Youth Services Manager to join our Senior Management Team!
Purpose: To oversee the development and delivery of Hope’s frontline programmes, and to manage the teams that deliver support.
Commitment: Full time (40 hours per week), regular travel across Herefordshire, some evening and weekend work required.
Role and responsibilities
- Line manage those delivering the frontline service, ensuring a high quality of support is being offered to our young people and families.
- Monitor the performance of the service delivery team, and provide them with regular feedback in order to maintain a high standard.
- Assist the Designated Safeguarding Lead (training will be provided), including on-call cover outside of regular working hours.
- Facilitate referral and caseload meetings with the service delivery team, providing guidance for the team on complex cases.
- Organise and/or provide cover if members of the team are sick or on leave, including cover for both the online and face-to-face service.
- Represent Hope at meetings, networking events, fundraising events and presentations across Herefordshire.
- Manage and develop referral pathways and working relationships with other organisations and community groups across the county.
- Represent service delivery and development as part of the senior management team, providing regular reports for all frontline programmes to the Board.
- Work with the Board, Operations Manager and Funding Manager to identify areas for service development, strategic planning and the sustainability of the charity.
- Ensure that Hope’s policies and procedures are followed at all times, in particular our safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, and confidentiality policies.
